Should i Ask her out or not?

So i just meet this girl a few days ago through a friend and we've been talking (she was the one who asked me for my phone number, so it has to mean something) i dont really like to text or do phone calls i preffer face o face talking should i just asker for a simple meet up to talk face to face rather than through the internet or phone?
We'll just go to a simple bar/coffe near our house so its a casual thing. Do you think i should go for it or will she interpert it like a date or something more serius?
I just want to know her better.
