Is there any other way to neuter a male cat than cutting the testicles off? Why would an incision be in the mid/tummy area?

Sometimes a cat has an undescended testicle - then they need to go into the abdomen and find it and remove it. Ask the vet if the cat had this issue.

Sure, they cut and tie off the "tube" from the testicles to the cats penis.
