scratches/scrapes on my car?

Okay so I washed my car Saturday and didnt notice anything. Then today as I was getting off work I noticed a scrape on my back bumper kinda on the side. And I have no idea who hit it or what caused it. So my question is do I tell my insurance about it and if so would they paint it without me paying anything or should I just go paint it myself. There's no dent just scratches
*I have full coverage on a 2015 Honda civic
Im just worried about my insurance getting raised since I pay alot already

Do you have collision coverage?

If yes, what is the deductible?

If the deductible is more than, or equal to, the cost of repairs, pay out of pocket.

okay so. If you want your car fixed you will have to use your collision coverage and will have to pay your collision deductible. Okay so.

Where is it taught that we should begin a question with "Okay so"?

Get it painted yourself. You have a deductible if you have collision insurance.

you'll have to pay your deductible. If they are convinced that someone else caused the damage you won't be listed at fault and your rates won't rise. But you normally can't use your uninsured motorist property damage coverage unless you have a way to actually identify the driver/vehicle owner.

If you go to your insurance company you have to take into account your insurance excess. Obviously I don't know what your excess is but if it's say....£250 you will have to pay the first £250 of any repairs. Also check if you have protected no claims. As there is no Third Party to claim from your insurance company may put it down as you are partly responsible. Personally I would do it myself (your choice).
