present tense

不知道 interview 內容 / 電話談話內容時. 很難解釋.

當被 interview 的人 (interviewee), 講及 general truths, scientific principles 和最新的進展, 特別涉及 research, 他們 findings 使用 Present tense, 連帶寫 interview report 的人都用 present tense.
Research paper 內部, Introduction, Result, Recommendation, Conclusion 用 present tense.

除此之外, 當談及 fictional event in literary work, 也用 present tense.
你還可以網上 look up “Historical present” 這個術語

有一些 reporting verbs, 例如 He claims (concludes, shows, demonstrates, points out, believes, illustrates, gives…. ) that …是用 Present tense
