US Marines suck compared to Royal Marine Commando's?
US marines train for 2 months, Royal Marines commando's train for 8 and go on to specialise in a number of areas as well as being trained to the commando level not to mention they are experts in desert, mountain, jungle and arctic warfare as well as amphibious landings. US marines are pointless being supposed experts in amphibious warfare and doing expeditionary operations which army scouts are for as well as aerial warfare which is what the airforce is for. Why do some Americans even try and argue they're just as good as Royal Marines when they should probably be disbanded

What you fail to understand is that you can no longer compare the two forces.
The United States Marine Corps is a conventional light mechanized force that mostly conducts limited duration expeditionary operations.
The Royal Marines are predominantly a special operations force that is more similar to the US Army Rangers, and conducts almost exclusively special operations.
Despite the similar names and origins, the two forces can not be compared any more.
US Army Scouts do not conduct missions as a whole that the USMC does - that assertion shows a massive misunderstanding of what both elements do.
Your understanding of what Marine aviation does is also flawed. US Marine Aviation's primary mission is to support Marine forces on the ground. That is not a primary mission of the USAF.
Besides that ... your training timelines are incorrect.
Ranting is not a question.

The Royal Marines were basically a special ops force- and as such lack a lot of capabilities the USMC have. For example- there are 0 harrier pilots, tank crewmen in the Royal Marines. they are designed for different missions and should not be compared.
well considering your knowledge of the US marines is NILL
you don't even know basic facts like training times
so just how can you attempt to make any comparisons
All Marines have 3 Months and 1 Week at Basic, 1 month of Infantry training for Non-Infantry , two months for infantry, that's 4-5 months right there , plus months of MOS school and other qualifications.
OK, you should write a letter to the US Ambassador to the UK and US President B. H. Obama suggesting same with supporting documentation or evidence. You have points which I'm sure will make sense to those reading them.
I have the thought that while they have somewhat similar names, "Marines", that their missions and roles are vastly different.
Silly and clueless question all armed forces train all the time the length of basic means
nothing
You cannot compare the two forces now that the Royal marine Commandos are more similar to the US army rangers. It would be like me comparing the SAS to the US army infantry of course the SAS is going to be better because they are better trained than a standard infantry soldier.
The U.S. Marines are always training. They aren't just trained and locked in a bin till they are needed. Also the British might be slower in the head and require more time to learn things.
Boot camp is three months and then there is specialized training. Be careful how you criticize the world's premier fighting force.
