What's a troll?

Internet trolls are people who post topics or says things to get people pissed and start flame wars. They often appear on social media websites, especially youtube, and virtually anything that allows people to make comments or talk online about subjects.

The evil guy who lives under bridges and attacks anyone who dares to pass through.

A troll is a low life scumbag.

A troll usually flames threads without staying on topic, unlike a "Flamer" who flames a thread because he/she disagrees with the content

A person who has no good intention but to make everyone pissed off.

Or they could be just plain Rat Ba****ds

Someone who spews negative, no valued words

This sense of the word troll and its associated verb trolling are associated with Internet discourse, but have been used more widely. Media attention in recent years has equated trolling with online harassment. For example, mass media has used troll to describe "a person who defaces Internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families."
