Why does every Christian "know" they are individually going to heaven?

Anyone who does what God wants him/her to accomplish knows what he/she is doing. This is the assurance of his/her entry to God's kingdom.

You do not "go" to Heaven, you are either Here! Now! or you are not!

Love = God = Heaven!
Here! Now!
Anything other than Love = sin = insanity = Hell!

They believe anything their imaginary friend tells them.

I treat everyone how I would want to be treated and I live a clean life. I don't lie to people or have hatred and I try to help everyone I can. I trust in God and do my best. I'm only human and make mistakes but if i'm not making it to heaven, then very few will.

Because everyone has an ego, and people seem to group what they think is correct into their ego, so the more they practice their system of beliefs, the more they think that they've attained eternal salvation.

No, it's not because they only listen to people they agree with. Most know by the success, peace and love they have in their lives. I probably don't fully agree with most Christians in some respect or another but that doesn't mean we don't all agree that there is a God and he only has a good and prosperous future in store for each Christian who abides by him. I've tried life your way more than several times throughout my life and it led to nowhere and nothing positive.

No because we are close to God and he promises us that. In other words we trust his words. Okay you might ask me... Well how you do know that God is really pleased with you ?/?? I feel it ... And I feel that God is always there next to me and loves me. And I do my best to follow his commandments ( he is watching me and all of us.

The meek will inherit the Earth is another possibility.


The Bible clearly speaks of a future paradise on earth. For example, the prophet Isaiah described the earth and its inhabitants in this way: “They will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full.” (Isaiah 65:21, 22) The Jews, to whom God gave these promises, were certain that their land—indeed, the whole earth—would one day become a paradise for mankind’s everlasting benefit.


Psalm 37 confirms this hope. “The meek ones themselves will possess the earth.” (Psalm 37:11) This verse is not talking about just a temporary restoration of the nation of Israel to the Promised Land. The same psalm specifies: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” (Psalm 37:29)* Note that this psalm says that everlasting life on earth is to be a reward for “the meek.” In a French Bible, a comment on this verse says that the word “meek” “has a far wider meaning than is apparent in translations; it includes the unfortunate, those afflicted or persecuted for Yahweh’s sake, humble hearts that are submissive to God.”
