So i'm going to achieve a award in an assembly tomorrow for getting A's. And i feel like all the people there, especially people who dont like me will laugh at me for being a nerd, and studying. I don't want that to happen, what should i do? ( i can't be absent)
Haven't you heard the "cool kids" are now the smart kids - times have changed. Today all the "cool kids" make straight A's. (That's a good thing)
Hold your head high! Congratulations getting all A's thats a big accomplishment. And if they laugh at you for this they are the true nerds and will go nowhere in life.
Hey coming from a senior, don't be afraid to show who you are man. If I were at your school and seen you go up there I would be kinda jealous. I mean I love who I am and I wouldn't want to change but your getting good grades and just coasting along. Those kids will soon to understand that they wish they did better like you. Don't be afraid to show who you are or you are just going to make a enemy with your self. Go up there and be proud to be recognized!
Just go up there and own it. You most likely have a better future ahead of you with your hard work. Show them that you're not stuck in the fantasy world of being forever a child. As long as you have a positive image of yourself, that's all that matters. No matter how stupid or corny that sounds, it's the truth. If you can hold your head high, people will look up to you.
Are you serious ? I'm so proud to know that I get straight A's and would love to show it off. It's such an accomplishment! You are going places in your future, and trust me no one will think you are a nerd. Everyone will be impressed
Embrace your nerdy-ness. When they're struggling to get into college and you got a freakin' scholarship it won't matter. Don't let them make you feel bad because you're smart. It's not your fault they get bad grades. Please don't worry.
