Is water a mixture, solid, liquid, or gas?

Liquid water is a liquid. But water can also be solid. Ice is water. And it can be a gas also. Water vapor.
Mixture: When water mixes/ dissolves with some other solvents/ solutes, it is so-called a mixture.
Water can be in different forms due to its physical factors.
Solid (Ice): When it is at 0 C or below, losing the specific latent heat of fusion, it is an ice in solid state.
Liquid (Water): When it is at 0 C to 100 C, absorbing the specific latent heat of fusion but not the specific latent heat of vaporization, it is so called a liquid water state.
Gas (Steam): When water is at 100 C, absorbing the specific latent heat of vaporization, it is a steam in gas state.
That's why water can be a mixture , solid, liquid and gas!!!
Liquid. But Mr.Smartypants is right. But since it's just WATEr and not Ice or water vapor, then water is just liquid.
Water can be liquid or mixture.........
Water, is a solid, liquid and a gas, ice is still water and so is steam so it can fit in all categories.
Water is a liquid of its bulk volume but on water open surface there will be water vapor at acorresponding temperature due to its vapor pressure , thus water liquid is a mixture of water liquid and its water vapor
