既然你想學sentence structure 那Grammar & Usage絕對幫到你
裡面有participial phrase,inversion,noun phrase,conditional sentence,verbless clause,relative clause等等
我用左呢本3年 學到不少grammar同sentence structure呢
至於vocab 睇報紙吧 覺得難的話就由young post開始 再慢慢開始睇opinion果版
雙管齊下 一定可以學好英文的 加油

少少suggestions.
第一要 cultivate an avid interest in vocab.有興趣可以 overcome 許多的 barriers
第二要 show untiring perseverance. (不屈不撓毅力)
第三了解字的 root, 詞性, verb 是 transitive/intransitive 或 linking verb
noun 是 countable 或 uncountable
第四, A good dictionary is indispensable (不可缺少)

例如 infuriate (tran, v)
基本字是 fury (uncount. noun)
furious (adj), furiously (adv)
infuriating (adj), infuriatingly (adv)
作句可參考字典, 句子盡與自己有關, 幫助記得
例句:
The judge sparked fury when he freed a man who had molested two young boys.
It infuriated the parents of the victims that the man was not found guilty.

有一通病, 不是用深的字便英文好, 重要是流暢, 引起讀者興趣
小心字的 collocations (配搭)
grammar 不是太重要, as long as you know the basics
三言兩語講不太多, vocab 是長時間的積累

Vocabs :

isolate -> 孤立
influence -> 影响
communicate -> 沟通
independent -> 独立
itinerary -> 行程
mistreat -> 虐待

E.g.

- Isolation is an action that influenced our life .

- It will become a dark mark of the people who've been mistreated .
