Without using formulas, you can quickly multiply a set of numbers, by using the Paste Special command. In your case, numbers are multiplied by 7.74, and the result is a permanent change to the numbers.
1. In a blank cell (say F1), enter the amount by which you want to multiply, i.e. 7.74.
2. Copy the cell which contains the multiplication amount.
3. Select the cells which contain the amounts that you want to multiply (say A1:A10).
4. On the Ribbon's Home tab, click the arrow on the Paste button, then click Paste Special
In the Options section, click Multiply, then click OK.
Each of the selected numbers (in A1:A10) is automatically multiplied by 7.74.
After completing the change, delete the amount typed in cell F1.
