So I'm a young teenager and I have lots of friends and a boyfriend. I had a baby sitting job tonight, but my boyfriend and me have been planning to go skating. So, my mom says I need to stay home and babysit, but I need to see him because we never get to see each other and I can see the little girl another time. I need to explain to my mom I'm sorry, but I'm a teenager and my social life is my most important thing in my years of now. I realize when I'm older things will change. But my friends are of upmost importantce right now. I'm also scared shes going to say I can't go period. I need help to send her a message telling her about how I am a teenager and I'm sorry...

being a teenager can be hard because you have to struggle with home life and social life, as you will get older you can clearly see the importance that some issues have over other issues. you can simply say to her that you need to spend time with your friends and your boyfriend because you want to have a good time. even offer to do the dishes for a week or something like that to try to bribe her into letting you go! hope this helps xx
