I'm 16, I have been hating sweet foods and candy all my life - is that normal?

Ever since I was a kid, I have been out of the crew - I rejected offerings from friends, family and other people for snacks and sweets. I just hated (and I still do now) that has any sugar, frostings (including cake and ice cream) and sweet tastes to go with it. Since then, I feel really bad rejecting people's gifts but as the old book says: Literally all children love sweets. Is there something wrong with my life growing process, or is it just me?
I've been always curious about this; Whenever my friends have birthday parties that they invite me to I never tend to have any slice of the cake simply because I have a slight feeling of disgust whenever I smell the breeze of sweetness or taste it. Is this normal? Please help me.
更新1:

My parents, siblings and literally EVERYONE in my family LOVES sweets probably because I'm half Fillipino and my Mom is Chinese which she got influenced, also to my sisters and brothers. But myself, I simply cannot stand a single moment of sweet tastes. (Not mentally as in love terms but in food terms) Is there some kind of interruption/change in my genes?

Sure it's normal. Every person has food preferences, and flavor preferences, and you just happen to not like foods with a sweet profile. A lot of people are not sweet fanatics. My Dad rarely ever ate sweets.

You are very lucky. Great not to eat that rubbish. My oldest grandaughter is like this, dislikes sweets.

Keep it up don't change.
