The formula for this is y=m(slope)x+b(y intercept). So the slope is 1 up and 3 across, so m=1/3. X we don't need so now we know y intercept is 2 because that's where it meets at 0 x and in the center line for y. So, the answer would be B as it would be y=1/3x +2.
參考: I'm a 5th grader in 8th grade math.
Slope = 1/3
y-intercept = 2
Thus the answer is B
Slope = 1/3
y-intercept = 2
Thus the answer is B
If you look at the graph where the line crosses the y axis at 2, the line goes up one as it goes to the right 3, so the slope, rise over run is, 1 over 3 or 1/3
and of course 2 is where x is equal to zero, and that's not even in question.
B. Rise over run. Go up one and to the right 3 and the y intercept is 2 because that is where the line intersects the y-axis. so y=1/3x+2
The answer would be B. the slope is rise( going up or down) 1 and run (going either left or right) is 3. so 1/3 for the slope and 2 if the starting point.
