Is cheerleading in England schools common?

My current school in England doesn't have a cheerleading squad. But in my old school (not in UK) has one. So i was wondering if there are cheerleading in schools in England?

No; cheerleading is an American thing that hasn't been taken up widely in the UK. Most schools don't have cheerleaders.

Not many as we don't need them. OUR sports are interesting so we don't need the distraction of scantily clad girls to keep the public interested. Only schools that have American sports will also have cheerleaders as they are needed for the American sports.
