✔ 最佳答案
Present Perfect 可表結果, 動作發生在過去, 但是對現在有影響, 而這個影響往往是說話人的興趣所在. 不要忘記 Present Perfect 是 present tense, 說話或書寫的人 focuses on the effect or result at the time of speaking or writing. Present Perfect 跨越兩個時間, 一個是過去, 一個是現在.

“I have been fired by ABC Company."

你現在講這句子, 句子沒有提到那一日被炒, 聽者不知道, 早幾日, 遲幾日不重要, 重要是現在還未找到工作, 仍然失業, “被炒” 這個動作是對現在有影響. 因為無 specified time (何時被炒), 我認為使用 Present Perfect 無問題.

如果有明確的日子, 用 Past Simple tense
I was fired by ABC Company on 15th November 2014.

或者你已經找到工作. 恢復工作. 對現在無影響
你可以講 I was fired by ABC Company. 用 Past Simple 講過去發生事件

如果 “remoteness” (被炒那一日直到今天為止) 太長, 用 Past Simple.
這定位由你決定. 從另一個角度, 去看 recent past.
用 Present Perfect 不是限制用 ”在被抄那天”, 有見 “remoteness” 可以 up to one year

“More than 1.1 million people have been laid off so far this year.” ~ from ABC News

"have been laid off" ~ Present Perfect, in passive voice

“現在完成式” 問題十天內問了多少次, 可惜有英文分類高手常答, 但常錯, 越答越錯. 發問者問完再問, 是否 vicious cycle? Even 連幾個回答者亦弄不清楚, let alone 發問者, 得罪了.

TOMING88:

"I have been fired for sometime so I know now;"
sometime 是 adv., adj.
應用 some time 兩字分開

上個月, 你寫
"I have already fired 22 years ago when I was 23 ..."

Tim 講 “但係ABC Company 宜家無文員lee 個職位”

It is my understanding that the position of clerk in ABC Company has been eliminated since then, perhaps the company was restructured. That job disappeared last month and is no longer available now.
How can one say “The clerk position in your company is vacant”.

TOMING88:

我寫 ".... perhaps the company was restructured."
It is a pity that you misread the word "perhaps", 或者不明白怎樣用
我用 "restructured", 不是 "reconstruction"
兩個字不同
看不明白我寫, too bad!

(1)I have been fired for sometime so I know now;
(2)As a result of my being fired in the past,(no specific time mentioned), I am jobless now.
So, present perfect tense denotes present results of past actions.
Note that the words "now" are used.
Use the past simple tense if date is mentioned eg:-15th of last month.
It began and completed in the past without any connection with the present. The clerk position in your company is vacant ,of course, since you have been fired and nobody is doing it now.

No offense:-
reconstruction of the Co., the process of changing is not mentioned.

你被抄的職位跟現在有冇這職位無關,但動詞時態表達的意義則要注意。

講作I have been fired by ABC Company在英語人習慣而言只會在被抄那天內通知家人/朋友時才會這樣講。即是"當時"的"已經"。
你話你是上個月已經被抄,到今天才講的話英語人是會習慣說成I was fired by ABC.因為時態是要配合fire(被抄)這動詞的行為時間,今天說的fire是在過去ABC對你做的動作,所以不能用present perfect tense表達出來,用simple past tense講/寫的話,聽/攪的人不需要問你也會知道是之前發生了的事,假如你用"現在完成時態"英語人直覺是你今天被抄而不是上個月。

以上的解釋無論是formal或是informal的情況都是如此準則運用這些tense的時態。
