Given two triangles of different shapes but with one side having the same length. Now, we stick the two sides of the same length as a common side to form a 3D figure, how to determine the angle between the two triangles/planes.

(1)On the common side (i.e. the edge of the 3D shape), Choose an arbitrary point.

(2) On each of the two triangles/planes, draw a line perpendicular to the common side passing through the point chosen in (1).

(3) Measure/Calculate the angle between the two lines drawn in (2). This angle is the angle between the two triangles/planes. This angle is the said to be "the greatest angle" between the two planes.
