以上我的回答GOOGLE都找的到。

第一個Khalifa真的只能翻作哈里發(或哈利法，如果你喜歡的話)，通指杜拜哈里發塔。

第二個卡利法，"利法"英文就只能翻作"lifa"，"卡"的英文則是"ka"或者是"ca"`，
搜尋kalifa的話是找到海賊王的腳色；califa在葡萄牙文中則是一個名字(哈里發)，在英文中不具此名，也無此單字意義。

Dear Cousins,

I did talk with her earlier this morning, she seemed a bit of edgy over the phone. Apparently her whole family did NOT desire to be bothered in any way or shape.

AhDoa, you've done your part the best you could. And deserve a credit for that. I am so proud of what we all have done for the Lin's, will keep pounding the table so to move forward.

Yesterday the round table discussions with the City(3) their professional/scholar review consultants(3), Starbucks' development crews of 7 went really well, many facilities design options were reviewed, solutions suggested for HVAC, exterior signs/logos, raised floor structure for the bar, ducts for water/drains via the smokestack, entrance doors,...
Principally, the city and consultants would like a minimally invasive design that can be restored back as much as possible to (say, 95%, for instance) where it IS now after the Starbucks lease expires.

Though personally I am more optimistic now then before the meeting, Starbucks still has their work cut out with many challenges in terms of creative solutions in HVAC layouts, raised bar floor structure, materials used for the exterior signs, water towers locations,... All of these requires their commitment, creativity in designing IN the hi culture value place into their business model and convince their boss that they will be rewarded handsomely $$$-wise. As I pointed out many times this one is NOT their #365(or whatever #) coffee shop in Taiwan, but the unique ONE they could cherish as a new business model in $$$$ payouts.
The key is whether they want to take that challenge.

For us we may need to work on getting ready for incoming utilities mods per Starbucks specs, hiring our architect, negotiating Starbucks commitment, revised plan for the use of the Historical Mark,..... The most of all $$$$$ for these work.

Though it might not a good start,but what matter is how it goes and lasts
