Your "advisors" or "consultants" are out of date. First, you must be the equivalent of high school graduate (or UK's A-levels) to apply to university. You must have 12-13 years of primary & secondary ACADEMIC education, not vocational training, to apply for admission to university.

Computer engineering, when it's on the list as eligible for skilled immigration, fills its quota very fast. You need a master's degree + experience to have any chance at a job in Canada & get PR. Computer people have flooded into Canada, US, etc, and there just aren't the needs for foreign workers. Citizens are looking for work in the field - and they're cheaper! No need for costly & time-consuming visas.

So if you think you can go to Canada for 2 years for some diploma, you're sorely mistaken. Not even with a bachelor's degree! You'll have to go home for a few years & get proper experience to the point where you have developed specialized expertise NOT available among Canadians.

Student visas are temporary NON-immigration class of visas issued on the condition that foreign students return to their country of citizenship immediately upon completion or termination of full-time studies. You do your course & go straight back home immediately. Intent to remain beyond the time-purpose of any temporary visa is visa FRAUD - grounds for visa denial or revocation, deportation & permanent bar to reentry. You're not remaining in Canada. Student visas are not for backdoor immigration or Scam-Migration. Countries are really cracking down on such frauds, and Indians are most notorious for this sort of fraud.

Better drop that adviser. He's giving you really bad advice. Studying in Canada will not allow you to remain. Study visas are NON IMMIGRANT. That means you come and enjoy your time here, study hard, get your degree or diploma and then you return home. The laws were tightened up recently to prevent this type of visa scam (come to study, never go home).

A 2 year diploma is nothing in Canada, it isn't going to allow you to remain, won't be a path to citizenship and most certainly won't get you a job interview, let alone a job. Unless you are top of your class in a degree program, your chances of coming to Canada are nil. You need an advanced degree (Master's in engineering or a PhD) before you'll even be considered for PR status. Canada does not lack for talented workers with 2 year diplomas.

Don't give your advisor another paise. He's giving you advice that will get you thrown out of Canada for fraud and that means NEVER returning.
