One of my cats may have snacked on a small portion of JWH-018, or incense, and is mildly clumsy and lethargic for almost 24 hours now.?

Thanks everyone with the insightful recommendations - "take him to the vet". Really ??? First, despite this product being fully legal in our state - why would I want my vet in charge of my care level - sending the police over to my home with small allegations of irresponsibility and animal cruelty. Yikes ! Tough situation I am embarrassed, Any thoughts we're all very concerned

Look folks. Are we not a little smarter that "Take 'em to the vet". My little fella is just a healthy strong large Maine Coon, experiencing what it is like being stoned. He did this without asking, and behind my back. He looks like just he is thoroughly baked and in no need of the vet racket to scold me and take my cash. Could someone please explain scientifically how this will play out...just this one mistake? I am sensitive to the matter, yet not worth getting entangled with vets and cops!

Thinks like essential oils and potpourrie are very toxic to cats. Get her in to the vet - today - this can't wait any longer.

too late to block absorption at this point. cats are more sensitive to cannabinoid compounds than dogs are. worst case scenario they can go into cardiovascular collapse and die. likely he'll get over it on his own since he is a day out and is conscious and mobile. keep all these compounds out of reach of your pets since dogs and cats don't always have the sense not to eat toxic dosages. there are some rare side effects to this compound reported in humans. effect on organs, so i would recommend getting your cat checked out and some baseline bloodwork done.

i would probably talk to a vet because things like that can be poison especially to cats

I would take her to a vet if it doesn't go away in about 3 hours. Death by poison is extremely painful so I wouldn't put my cat through that risk.

Call your vet immediately and see what should be done.

And you haven't called the vet to find out how to handle it being poisoned?!

call poison control or a vet

What is the point though - what can they do for my little friend >? Seems simply stoned/baked. It appears to have thought it was catnip so it was just a small amount of dry weeds - legal weeds - !
