The actual colour of sky is black the one u see in night time...but becoz of sun's many colour present in its light & when hit the earth's atmosphere the sky appears to be blue...The molecules in the air like for eg nitrogen, oxygen, carbon & so on....absorbs & scatters only the blue colour of the sun's light everywhere making sky blue....& when sun is about to set then colour changes from blue to red becoz at that time sun's light have to travel a longer distance to reach ur eyes...& sun's red colour is seen in the sky during sun set...

A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

Due to the scattering of light by the atmosphere

because there is nothing in sky.

The sky is blue because the color blue is the most reflected visible wavelength. So, this is why the sky appears blue.

Because the chemical composition of the gasses that make up our atmosphere reflect blue light and absorb the colors of the rest of the spectrum.
