Has anyone purchased from digitalrev.com before?

I'm considering purchasing a new DSLR and found this website called digitalrev.com. There prices are very good compared to RRP. I have read quite a lot of reviews, some are excellent and others are bad. The problem I have is that the company is based in Hong Kong and I have never purchased any item from abroad before (I live in the UK). Also, I don't really understand how customs fees/tax work. When you go to checkout, they accept PayPal and it says it is norton secured. This suggests to me that the site is safe to use. I would appreciate if anyone could check this site out and give me their opinion.
Thanks

They have a terrible reputation as a vendor.

The best place to buy a dSLR is at a reputable store near you. The benefits of support outweigh whatever headaches you get from a lower price.

Even if they are honest, the wonderful bargain could get eaten up in import taxes and shipping. If there is a problem, return shipping is going to cost you a bundle. The manufacturer's warranty may not be valid where you live.

Their YouTube channel is one of the most popular for photography. I would say go ahead and buy from them if you can't find what you need locally. Just be sure to buy items that are intended for your country and not Hong Kong. If your camera breaks, you will not have a warranty in the UK. You'll have to ship it back to a Hong Kong repair shop. Also, if the camera was not intended to be sold in the UK, the language used within the menu system may not be in English. I'd call them to get these questions answered. Better yet, email them so you get the answers in writing.
