I would like to know if someone passes away and you live in different state how can you find out if your on they're will ? or do I have to travel to find out ?

The probate attorney handling the estate will send you a certified letter if you are named in the will

If you're in the will, the executor of the estate will contact you.

The executor will contact you only if you are in the will.
