b. Suspects have motives to flee and avoid prosecution.

2. No. Not all suspects are subject to the same treatment. In fact, bail condition is negotiable.

Surrendering a travel document does not mean the chance or likelihood to be prosecuted.

4. Not related. Bail is simply a guarantee you have posted for your appearance in exchange to your release. It has nothing to do with the prosecution.

5. Not related. The police can set bail even there is no evidence showing the person is involved.

Simply saying - you mixed up bail and prosecution. They are not related. A person still can be prosecuted regardless there is a bail or not.

In your case, you should seek help from a lawyer. Bail lasting for 1 year is very unusual. In that case, a lawyer may be able to help to re-negotiate or even release without bail.
