1. At this moment, I will suggest you working with the employer for now and see if you can get any document regarding the accident.
As there is no direct flight to Mexico from any cities in the Greater China area, most people travel to Mexico via the U.S.. So the document will help to get a U.S. visa as soon as possible.
2. It will be complicated. Leaving Mexico is not the issue in most of the case. Entering into the U.S. (or Canada) will be the issue.
In that case, a relative must go to Mexico and work with Chinese Consulate there.
3. Not much. Mexico is basically Wild West.
