Is "indorsement" synonym for "endorsement"?

The accessories they enjoyed little needed the indorsement of speech.

In this sentence, i dont understand the meaning of "indorsement".

So, I looked it up in the dictionary, there was no clear answer..

It's just an alternate spelling that's seldom used, at least in the US. I have no idea what the sentence you give is supposed to mean.

To endorse is a verb.
An indorsement is a noun.
