hmmm why do people ask such dumb questions?

They are bored, seeking attention, lonely nobody likes them in real life, has no life, mental disorder so they dream up the weird question to reason their insanity, too afraid to ask their therapist, friends or families due to judgement for the questions.

I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!! There must be a lot of bored people in this world. Between the dumb ones, and then the sex ones, and the staring/eye contact ones...oh and 'am I pregnant ones....there are very few questions to actually answer.

Because they are bored and like to receive random peoples attention,...

For the same reason people actually answer them, we're bored out of our right minds... and I also have some studying to do >.>
