Total horizontal component = [83.cos(81) + 656cos(28)] N = 592.2 NTotal vertical component = [83.sin(81) + 656.sin(28)] N = 390 N
Hence, magnitude of resultant force = square-root(592.2^2 + 390^2) N
= 709 N
Direction of resultant force = arc-tan(390/592.2) degrees
= 33.37 degress from horizontal
