Should the UK be federalised?

It's an interesting idea.
In a small way the UK already resembles a Federal structure because it has a Westminster government and devolved legislatures in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales (as well these being countries in their own right) however the fact that England doesn't have a devolved legislature and is solely served by the Westminster government does give an indication of the balance England has within the UK government.
A Federalised structure with states exercising their own authority would perhaps alleviate issues remaining after the Scottish independence ballot because in their own rights Scotland would have inalienable control over certain matters pertaining to its affairs however no British Isle nation has ever federalised or even con-federalised and I seriously doubt it would garner too much support in England especially since it would almost certainly require a codification of its unwritten constitution.
While it might be an idea worth considering one day (perhaps even the rest of Ireland could join) [doubt it] for the foreseeable future I think everyone is more than happy [well maybe just satisfied] with the current structure as it is, after all, the structure that has worked throughout history and has allowed Britain to become one of the great bastions of democracy and stable government.
It already is to some extent. Scotland has its own laws as does England and Wales. With devolution there are separate powers for the constituent parts - the only anomaly at present is that England does not have its own separate assembly. This is likely to change in time. Whether London gets its own separate status (it has a population twice that of Scotland) remains to be seen, but that would leave the rest of England without its cash cow.
the UK is surviving on the strength of it's capitol most of it's wealth is there the country itself is bankrupt it has high consumer debt plus a national debt that is growing it's actually in the worst condition it has ever been
that is fact you heard the warnings against Scotlands independence that swayed the vote and Scotland actually had the best chance of anybody of surviving Britain is so dependant on London it's almost a crime against humanity regional powers would be throwing the baby out with the bath water a disaster they just would not cope we just do not have the industrial capacity to make money
