Are 3-ethyl-2-methyl hexane and 3-propyl hexane the same thing?

3-propylhexane is wrong. The reason is :

In naming an aliphatic alkane, choose the longest chain with THE GREATEST NUMBER OF BRANCHED CHAINS as the parent chain. Therefore, choose the hexane chain with one CH3- group and one CH3CH2- group as the parent chain.
