Will my car title from the tag office be forwarded to my new address?

I got a new car in late September. Due to some unforeseen reasons, I moved on Oct 1, this means that the title will be sent to my old address. I have all my mails forwarded to my current address at USPS but I'm not sure if the title of the car will be forwarded to the new address. I've called the tag office but they're not too helpful.

更新2:

I am asking because the lady from the tag office said the title would not be forwarded and I do not want to go through the trouble of talking to the carrier. My schedule doesn't really allow that.

Mail from the Department of Motor Vehicles is not forwarded in many states since the envelope is marked as do not forward.

What you do, since you were told by the tag office that they don't forward, if make sure they have you new address. It may be possible to do that on line, and when they get it back perhaps they will send it out again to your new address.

As long as you have had your mail forwarded and you have made your change of address known to the DMV it should be received at your new address.

If you had your mail forwarded, this should include the title as long as it is being sent to the address you are having your mail forwarded from.
