should i buy an xbox one or ps4?what have u bought?

You should get a PS4 because .

PS4 has better hardware.

Most games on PS4 have better graphics than the XBOX One.

Call Of Duty Ghosts : 1080p on PS4 , 900p on X1.
Battlefield 4 : 900p on PS4 , 720p on X1
The Witcher 3 will be 1080p on PS4 , 720p on X1 and the list is REALLY TOO BIG.

So I suggest getting a PS4 for better graphics.

But if your friends are going to buy the XBOX One then you should get one too , because lets not kid ourselves.The best place to play is not on a plastic box, the best place to play is with your friends and friends only.

Also you might want to take a look at Exclusives on both consoles.
XBOX has Halo
Playstation has Uncharted,depending on what you like make your decision.

I strongly recommend the PS4 though
