I don't dress up super formal. Sometimes I dress in khaki slim pants, dress shoes, and a sweater over a collar shirt and sleeves rolled up so it has a classy look but nothing extreme. A few other people at school do the same but is it weird or unattractive to do this often? I'm a guy btw
I do not think it's weird or unattractive. I actually know someone (he's also a guy) who also usually dresses the same as that of your description. In my opinion, it looks good and smart, and, yes, somewhat classy. Not too casual, not too formal. And besides, nobody should care about what you wear, unless it's against the school rules. If people like it, then good. If they don't, who cares? But I think it wouldn't be too often that people won't like it because it's a really nice outfit. So, again, no it's not weird or unattractive.
Not at all weird! Everyone has a different preference when it comes to clothing so if that is what you want to wear then I say wear it. It's not weird, in fact, most guys don't know how to dress themselves well and could use some guidance from a guy like you. Looking nice and put together is most often found to be attractive! Like many girls have said in their responses, we wish more boys dressed like that! Of course it's not about pleasing others but if that's how you like to dress and it makes you feel good then keep on doin' you. :)
If it was weird, then i would be the weirdest person in my school.I dress up for school a lot and all i get are positive comments.A dressed up person always looks better. Also i think that for a guy it's really attractive to be dressed up and not in a Justin Bieber-One Direction clothes.
I find that when males dress up nice, clean, and sharp but still in a relaxed fashion to be very attractive. It's much more presentable than baggy clothing and it also gives a better impression of your public self.
Absaloutly not! I've seen people dress up like they're going to a job interveiw at my college. It's good to look smart but the best thing you can wear is confidence, then everyone will be looking up to you,
It's not at all weird!! I am 22 and I dress nice all the time for school, but I have to because I am 4"9 and I have a baby face and have a slim figure so I look like I am 12 years old. LOL So it is crucial for me to dress nicer to kind of suit my age, however I see alot of people still wearing heels and button down shirts and no one judges them. It's all about feeling confident in your own style preference.
I went to school back in the 70's. The first day of Junior and High School, everybody dressed nice (not me, was and still are a total Beach Bum) as the days dragged on, only certain guys (rich dads) wore nice things, and of course the girls loved it. The girls dressed up and that was nice. This was in Southern California. Once in a while now, I will dress nice to take the Mermaid (Wifey) to eat, we both dress up. But no ties man! Ties are the Devil! LOL
I think it's fashionable nowadays. But it's weird for students (in high school) especially in the US because in my opinion American male teenagers aren't that interested in fashion until going to college. You may influence your friends so more and more people will dress cooler. (well, not saying a t-shirts and a basketball shorts are not cool, they're just too old-school)
It may be uncommon, but that's so freaking cute! I wish the boys at my school dressed like that. All they wear are basketball shorts and oversized T-shirts. Gross! The clothes you described sound exactly how I would want a boy to dress! Wish boys at my school dressed more like you. Maybe it's uncommon, but it's WAYY better than dressing down for school. It's not weird, it's good! o-o I too "overdress" for school. I wear blazers and pencil skirts, and collared shirts, but I always get compliments and I feel especially the teachers respect me more and so do some other kids. It gives people a good impression of you! :)
