Can someone please explain to me why are the paremetric equations x= 1, y= 2 + t and z = - 4 - 8 t?

I am super confused. How do you relate the slope to parametric equations?

original question: paraboloid z = 6 - x - x2 -2 y^2

the paraboloid intersects the plane x = 1
