2011福島大地震 是指2011年3月11日14時46分（當地時間）發生於日本東北地方外海三陸沖的矩震級規模9.0大型逆衝區地震。震央位於宮城縣首府仙台市以東的太平洋海域，震源深度測得數據為24.4公里（15.2英里）[11]，並引發最高40.1公尺的海嘯[6]。此次地震是日本有觀測紀錄以來規模最大的地震，引起的海嘯也是最為嚴重的[12]，加上其引發的火災和核洩漏事故，導致大規模的地方機能癱瘓和經濟活動停止，東北地方部份城市更遭受毀滅性破壞。
