What are the chances i will run into a person i actually know on Yahoo Answers?

Very slim. Let's say there are 2 million users on here. Let's say they all live in America, and so do you. Then 0.66% of America would use Yahoo Answers. So then about 1 in 150 people would use Yahoo Answers. Then you would have to take into account the likelihood of discussing Y!A with a stranger! And that is assuming that all the users are in America. So your chances are very, very slim.

It is a possibility that you may find there are others in your group that use Answers as well, I think many school kids do and talk about it to others
