i would like to buy comething from ebay, but it's in USD, and i only have GBP.
if i just pay, would they do a basic transferred? do the people get the GBP eqivalant? or do they charge you an extra heavy premium like most other companies out there?
how does ebay charge you if you're buying stuff in other currency?

They charge both you and the seller 1% for conversions as well as using a so-so conversion rate. If you don't mind a lousy rate, go for it.
