The weight of Daniel's sister is half of the weight of Daniel. Can you use a directed number to represent the difference between Daniel's weight and his sister's weight? Explain your answer briefly.

Let x be the weight of Daniel's sister, then the weight of Daniel = 2x.
The difference between Daniel's weight and his sister's weight= 2x - x = x ,
we cann't use a directed number to represent the difference between Daniel's weight and his sister's weight since x is unknown.
