I need help with Math.
I got some problem that I did not know how to solve.
Can everybody help me solve these problem?
Here are my problem
1. If a car is traveling at 40 miles per 3 有2份之一hours. The car will have traveled ____mils .
2. If a mountain rises 25.0 centimeters( cm) in 125 years: （a)The rate of uplift is ______ cm/ year.

2b. In 10000years ,this mountain will be _____ cm taller ( assuming no erosion ).

2c .If there are 100 centimeters in a meter , convert your answer in 2b above to meters ( round answer to one decimal place).

If a car is traveling at 40miles per hour for 3又1/2 hours. The car will havetraveled 140 miles .
(in the question, the words"hour for" have been missed.)

Distance that the car will have traveled
= 40 × [3 + (1/2)] miles
= 40 × (7/2) miles
= 140 miles

2. If a mountain rises 25.0centimeters( cm) in 125 years:
(a) The rate of uplift is 0.2 cm/ year.

Rate of uplift
= 25/125 cm/year
= 0.2 cm/year

(b) In 10000 years ,this mountain willbe 2000 cm taller ( assuming noerosion ).

Uplift in 10000 years
= 0.2 × 10000 cm
= 2000 cm

(c) If there are 100centimeters in a meter , convert your answer in 2b above to meters ( roundanswer to one decimal place).

2000 cm
= 2000 ÷ 100 m
= 20.0 m (to one decimal place)
