It is simply, 2014 minus 600. But if you were to ask, how many months between the two, you would face the fact that, in-between, we went from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian one. Not all countries changed their date at the same time and this is why e.g. the so-called Russian October revolution of 1917 actually happened in November for our present Gregorian calendar because, until then, Russia still used the Julian one.

2014 AD - 600 AD = 1400 Years is the net difference of years where difference of dates and months excluded , similarly Gregorian calender is not given consideration , since except Russia , all countries of the world continues Julian calender.
