help i have intel core i5 2.40 mhz 4 gm memory and 2 cores but dolphin emulator is lagging alot even im mario kart i get like 30 fps max?

You may be able to resolve the problem by upgrading your video graphics card to a faster model that has a speed of 900+ MHz and on-board memory of 2Mb. Here is one that might do.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then upgrade to an i7 4th gen with the fastest clock speed you can find, and overload on memory, min of 8Gb and preferably 12 or more.

What do you have for a graphics card?

i'm afraid you would need to give much more information than that for people to really answer what you want. however, i think it should be fine, just check if the software is the latest one and close down all other things before starting it

well i googled it and it says that my laptop is strong enough to do it but when i turn on ThrottleStop_600
it says 8x99.97

but google says it has to be 18x100

Try seeing if you can increase the number of cycles the emulator runs at. Keep in mind these games only ran at 30 FPS on those old consoles.
