Can You Get Somebody Arrested If They Abuse Their Government Benefits And Take Advantage Of Taxpayers?

Hi, I know someone who is on disability and is abusing his benefits and taking advantage of the taxpayers. Would it be correct for him to receive some type of legal/federal punishment? He goes to cedar point, soak city, etc. I think he used his benefit money for these things and not for what it's supposed to be used for.

Let me ask you this: how would you want to be treated if you were disabled? Have you heard of the Golden Rule? Why are so many right-wingers intent on punishing so many others? I don't get it.

Wow, so he goes to an amusement park so he's abusing the government! He can't have fun because he's on disability?
Go after the REAL abusers of taxpayers! Israel, getting $8,000,000 PER DAY to kill children!
Syrian rebels getting $12million a week to destabilize a country!
ISIS getting guns and food to destroy the middle east!
Afghanistan getting 42MILLION right before 9/11!
Al-Queda getting 3BILLION to destroy Libya.
Big banks with Billions getting a bailout! Free get out of jail card!

THOSE are the abusers, not a disabled guy trying to ******* enjoy his miserable life you piece of crap human

I have no idea what cedar city is.. or if it is something illegal for a disabled person to be doing.
You can REPORT a person if you believe they are committing fraud, and illegally getting disability. I suggest you have valid evidence.
As to benefit nazism.. I suspect what he does with those benefits, is not necessarily a valid report.
Just what do you believe are legal limits for what benefits are USED FOR?
AND one more thing for the record...
persons who are not legally qualified for benefits, don't go to jail. They are disqualified and maybe fined.

edit
Looked up Cedar point.. and it's an amusement park. So. You REALLY ARE THAT IGNORANT THAT YOU THINK A DISABLED PERSON IS DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL BY GOING TO AN AMUSEMENT PARK? DID YOU PERSONALLY WATCH TO SEE THAT HE PAID (WHICH ISN'T ILLEGAL TO START WITH).
FYI. You are beyond uneducated.
This is the worst question I have seen in 7 yrs of being on yahoo answers. Just WHAT is it that you think his "benefits" are supposed to be "used for" ???

SOME-Times. But then the Government is probably going to check out YOUR Financial Affairs- as well. -Just to make SURE Your Complaint is on the "Up & Up..." And if You have any Unpaid Parking Tickets that You don't want Anyone to Know about, - Pointing Fingers at someone ELSE's "shortcomings"- might not be such a "good" idea !! :o

If his main needs are being met, then he can use the money for what he wants to. There's no rule as to 'how' you can and can't spend the money. As long as its nothing illegal, there's no problem. Unless he gets disability because he cannot leave the house or walk. Then yeah going to an amusement park is not right.

But if that's not the case, then i assume you're upset that he's trying to have fun even though he's disabled?

How would you feel if you were born disabled or with problems? Did you ask to be born that way? Should you not be allowed to do things normal people do, or buy things you like, or go places you want?

Sure, but you'd need to prove it.

If he's claiming benefits fraudulently you can notify the authorities, but if you do you should also notify the local TV stations, as they will expose him much more quickly.

Be SURE that you're right, though.

You could be slandering an innocent person. If he's just going on a ride, it might not be anything he shouldn't do, and it might actually be therapeutic.

Report him, but I don't hold out much hope. Studies show that auditors pay for themselves yet Congress refuses to fund audits.
