其實唔係好睇得明個definition
即係longitudinal 同transverse waves,我讀更英中so用英文上堂
咩叫所謂direction of travel of wave and vibrations are perpendicilar to each other.
係咪即係如果direction of vibration係horizontal,更住direction of travel of wave就係vertical motion ?好abstract 呀!仲有我有d例題想俾大家睇,甘可以解埋俾我聽!
有哪裡可以上載相呀?

Your understanding of transverse wave is correct.

Along "south-north" direction means a line running from south to north. Likewise, along "east-west" direction means a line running from east to west.

Here the wave is travelling from left to right, but the marker (the red dot) is vibrating up and down only.
