句子是正確的。

Do I need to hand in newspaper cutting homework after this summer holiday?
句子沒有什麼不對。

或者應該加上一個article:
"the" newspaper cutting 剪報

剪報亦作 press clipping (美式英語)

news cut 也是一個簡稱，故不宜使用。

試想想，新聞 (news) 如何可以剪 (cut)？

中文的剪報也是指剪出報紙上的部份內容。

除非你是電視新聞部的編輯，對下屬說：
Cut this (piece of) news, I don't want it to be aired!
「刪去這則新聞，我不要它廣播！」

想問一下 ‘newscut homework' 對不對?
