In the interest of your mental health, pl. stop such misadventure. Strictly go as per the good words of advice from a professionally qualified doctor. Pl. don't get confused.

You probably have it if u were diagnosed with it. I was I thought I didn't have it I stopped my meds April if last year, you don't want to know what happened. Basically, a lot of bad stuff. So your probably do have it. I am just sad that I may have to be on meds the test of my life =(.
I have bipolar 1 and was diagnosed in January i have so far been on 2 diffrent meds (Welbutrin and well i just started Zoloft this past week) but i also have Severe Anxiety and Depression but to answer your question there are diffrent kinds of bipolar if you do you most likely have 1 but just so you know bipolar doesnt always mean mood swings it could also be mania stages like you are very very happy at one point for a day or sometimes more then you crash but either way if you dont have bipolar then the meds should keep your mood stable and work that way BUT if your 100% sure you do not have bipolar disorder try to get into another psychiatrist and get a 2nd opinion if he agrees with thinking you have bipolar maybe it would be for the best that you continue to take your meds i hope this helped and best of luck to you
Depends on the medication. Ask your doctor why he diagnosed you as Bipolar if you do not have mania but keep in mind that you only have to have one episode of mania in your lifetime to be diagnosed with Bipolar so if you have ever had a HIGH high then he could be right, even if the high was years ago.
