I am basically sorting out all my pictures on my laptop and found that all of them are JPG and I want to change all of them to PNG. How exactly do I do this?
OHH and another thing I have loads of pictures of me and my bf and I want to number them so they stay in a particular order but when ever I select all of them and rename the first one the order mucks up, how can I stop it from doing that?
Change JPG to PNG?!?

Let me suggest using the utility Irfanview. It can do batch conversion and rename all in one go.

You can only change the name of one at a time. And you will need to stick to numeric sort order using a row of 0 s in the number to start from. If you use q, 2 , 3, etc, when you reach 10 it will come BEFORE 2. At 100, so would that. so you need to use 001, 002, 003 etc. Converting them requires opening each one in turn in a photo editor and using the File/Save As or File/Export to change them.
