This is somewhat difficult to comprehend, but the universe has no center. It is expanding out in all directions uniformly. From wherever you are in the universe, galaxies are moving away in all directions. But this doesn't just apply to our perception of the universe on earth. If you went to a distant galaxy and measured the movement of all other galaxies then the same would apply. Everything (apart from galaxies that are very close to each other since thr pull of gravity comes into effect) is moving away from everything else. Therefore, we can conclude that the universe has no centre. To give an analogous situation, imagine if you drew dots on the surface of a baloon. These represent galaxies. As you blew up the baloon, all of these dots would move away from each other with no one dot being the centre of expansion. It's not something that's intuitive, but space is weird yo, so it might take a while to get your head around.

Think about it - the universe started as a single point in space, and expanded. You can't get *outside* the universe, so realistically, *every* point is the center.

Do you mean center? Yes there is a center to the universe and it's everywhere you can look. Everything in the universe is going away from each other so when something goes away from something that means once they were in the same spot. This goes for anywhere in the universe.

Every point in the universe is a center.

Actually "Yes".....it's just behind your eyes and between your ears, just above your shoulders at the top of your neck. Funny thing though, it's also located in another place altogether different but at the very same time "on me" and I'm very far away from you, it's almost like two particles trading information across a vaccuum in space........exceedingly strange.
