Set in a fantasy world with the MC a young women between the ages 17 and 20. A witch, trying to bring her dead lover back to life, accidentally curses the country by casting a spell that brings back to life the creatures from myths that people doubted ever existed. Some are tamed but most are fierce demon-like creatures. The men( though not all of them) of a village leave in search of the witch to try and find a way to break the curse. One being the father of my main character. A long time goes by without a word from the men so my MC leaves in search of her father and along the way is joined by a young man who is the son of one of the other men. The two encounter the witch who tell them that the only way to break the curse is to cast another spell, a powerful spell that will undo her last spell she cast. However the spell contains ingredients that are hard to come by. This is what she also told the men when they came to see her. The witch has some of the ingredients and the two go on a journey and obtains some of the ingredients and then meets up with the other men who have also found the other ingredients. They cast the spell but something goes wrong. The end result is that the spell didn't get rid of the creatures but it has stopped any more of the creatures from coming back to life. Also throughout the story they encounter some of the creatures, particularly the demon-like creatures.

What do you think about the witch accidentally casting the curse. My brother thinks I should have her do it on purpose because he says a story like that needs a bad guy. What would you like.

Qiya, I think I need to clarify some things. The main character isn't the witch. It is the daughter of one of the men who go search for the witch. Also the men are not trying to kill her, they search for her to ask her if there is a way to break the curse.
