it depends on which uni and subject u r going for,
most of them consider 4 core+ 1/2 elective, while best 5 or other methods for some

Chinese & English Languages + Any Best 3 Subjects

Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medical Laboratory Science
Any Best 5 Subjects
( but Average HKDSE Scores of Admittees was 27.8 ...)
