For this problem. Am I suppose to first find the derivative, then use y=mx+b formula?

y ' = 2x - 3
m = y '(2) = 2∙2 - 3 = 1
y = 1∙x + b
Plug coordinates (2,-1)
- 1 = 2 + b
get b = - 3
equation is
y = x - 3
m = y '(2) = 2∙2 - 3 = 1
y = 1∙x + b
Plug coordinates (2,-1)
- 1 = 2 + b
get b = - 3
equation is
y = x - 3

yes ...but use [ y - (-1)] = m [ x - 2]
